If the meaning of being itself is expanded from the presence of what is sensuously present to presencing and absencing within the clearing of three-dimensional time-space, then there are different, equally valid ways of being with beings in such a temporally structured world. To exist does not mean primarily to be with things in the present through the mediation of sense perception (e.g. through scientific experiment), but rather to call, or let come to presence, to mind, those matters that have to be taken care of, which primarily come from the future, although this does not at all exclude that what has been, the so-called ‘past', has to be dealt with through recollection. Dasein has to be primarily future-oriented to shape its own existence in the world which, of course, it shares with certain others. Such a future-orientation is a presencing of the absent things themselves as potential within the arriving temporal dimension of the future, and not an inner imagination through which future events are simply represented inside consciousness, lacking external reality, which latter is always conceived metaphysically as pertaining solely to the present, as shown forcefully by the metaphysical conception of time as a linear succession of now-instants that are present. Post-metaphysically, the mind itself becomes another name for the Da, for exposure to the open, three-dimensional temporal clearing of the world in which Dasein can be with beings in the world in various temporal ways, including, among others, physically, spatially, sensuously in the present. This could perhaps be regarded as a revival and post-metaphysical phenomenological re-interpretation of the Anaxagorean insight into nou=j, i.e. into mind as out there in the world.4

Even when Dasein today scientifically conceives, through mathematico-physical theories, the beginnings of the universe billions of years ago before there were any human beings around, such beginnings are such only for and through Dasein, whose out-standing ex-sisting is temporally unrestricted in the sense that its very imaginings are a way of moving through three-dimensional time-space without the need for any locomotion. Hence, strictly speaking, it is inconceivable for you to be out of your mind, since any imaginative conceiving at all is a calling to presence in the sole site where anything can present itself at all, namely, in the temporal clearing, no matter in what mode of presencing or absencing.

three dimensions reach (erreichen) human beings. This reaching-to (Reichen) is a bestowal of human being with time. Without the bestowal of the time-clearing reaching human being, humans would not be human beings. As a three-dimensional clearing, time is now no longer thought linearly, but as a time-space (Zeitraum). The It that gives does not send only the presence of presents in their epochal disguises, but It bestows three-dimensional presencing that reaches human beings. As human beings, humans are exposed (ausgesetzt) to the clearing of 3D time-space and have to stand it (ausstehen) so long as they ex-sist, i.e. ‘stand out' in the temporal clearing for presencing and absencing. Three-dimensional time itself is a reaching of the three temporal dimensions to each other in a play of time in which, say, beenness plays to future which in turn reaches itself to presence. This interwoven reaching-to of the three dimensions enables fluid movement through a time-space thus unified. This unified 3D time-space itself is bestowed on human being in a reaching-through-to, so time itself may be thought as four-dimensional, namely, the reaching of the three temporal ecstasies to each other along with the reaching-through of unified time-space itself to human being as the clearing to which human beings are exposed and in which they dwell. Human beings as such are stretched ecstatically to the three ecstasies of time and can move fluidly between them. This exposure to the time-clearing is their mind.5

This round dance, as already noted, is not without its frictions. Not only are there many negative modes of estimating the value of other goods and mortals that hinder smooth circulation, but there is a vieing among mortals for the estimation of both their personal powers and their derived powers such as wealth, political office, social influence, etc. This renders the round dance of estimation as a power play. What is at stake in this power play is first of all how highly you are estimated and esteemed, in order to enjoy the shine of mirrored value. Your very self-esteem is also not something you find in your interior, but is itself a mirroring from the world in which you have cast and shaped who you are, i.e. your identity, thus gaining a stand in the world. The power play must not be seen only in a perniciously rivalrous light, for mortals also dwell well in valuing and appreciating each other's powers in the sense of abilities, skills, experience, mutually benefiting from them. Hence mortals' dwelling in the world can be regarded insofar as an affirmative power round dance of mutual estimation danced on the Earth and under the sky. They spare the thus eventuating world insofar as their power
