For a Dasein to realize their potentiality for authenticity means that they have realized themselves as a Dasein. A Dasein comanifests a world but is not an object in that world. A Dasein is an opening for a world to comanifest.
All the concern about being inauthentic amongst philosophically aware undergrads should not be a problem. You as a you (as you look in the mirror) are not authentic in the very act of seeing yourself in the mirror. (Metaphorically speaking, You are the mirror, not the apparent face staring back.)
Ironically, it is more authentic to realize yourself as inauthentic, for in that moment, there is authenticity.
But the conditioning called the ego rebels against seeing itself as inauthentic, and it goes to great pains to dress itself authentically.
